16mm or 18mm is the way to go on a stock OT70 engine.
I'd get a decent second hand and give it a full rebuild. (rebuild kits are widely available)

Or try to find a NOS carb for a reasonable price.

With the removable front end? Nice!
Good luck searching the right throttle cable if you haven't got the original one...

The used carb in the Ebay link should be the correct one for this bike.
