Help needed fitting 12v engine

Help please. Last year I bought a 70cc engine for my 1971dax, it turns out it's a cdi 12volt version ! Whoops, anyway I've tried to get a 6v engine everywhere but with no luck so I'm going to have a go at fitting the 12v. It goes into the frame no problem an I know I'll have to change the bulbs over to 12v but I'm a bit in the dark when it comes to the wiring. Has anyone done the same swap ?

I've done it, found it quite easy.
I changed the whole loom but I believe you can get an adapter that's adds the cdi wiring to the existing loom.
