Wrong engine doh!

Well started to work on my st70, I got an engine last year to replace the one I foolishly sold many years ago. Tonight I thought I'd start to try and wire it in ! After an hour trying to figure out why there were 6 wires coming from the engine I finally realised I'd bought the wrong one, it's a 12v c70c engine thats CDI
So what to do ? Get a loom and cdi from a c70c and try and fit it, get a 6v c70 engine from somewhere or go down the lifan route ?

If you want to get rid of the ignition points system, you might want to convert the complete bike to 12v.
If not, I'd look for a decent OEM 6v engine. All Lifan and other Chinese knock-off engines are 12v.
