ST OR Z50 FRONT BRAKE CABLE
I suspect the front brake cable that came with the original pile of ST70 bits I bought isn't for an ST70. It seems a bit too short when fitted as it leaves no adjustment possible either from the lever end or the brake drum arm. It has the brake light switch connections half way along with the rubber shroud.
I suspect it could be from a Z50 (as a few other bits turned out to be) so I wonder if any of you guys with a drum braked ST70 could actually do me a big favour and measure the overall length of the cable from the nipple end to the end of the threaded rod on the drum.

Even better, anyone with a Z50 might also measure the cable on theirs so at least there's a sporting chance of identifying the cable I've got.
As a guide the cable I've got is 110cm long.
Thanks - any feedback appreciated

Brian,

I have a brand new Honda cable, in its original packaging, so it wont be streched etc.
Give me a day or so and I'll dig out out and measure it

Best,
