Kick-starter spindle

My ST70 kick-starter spindle is in a poor shape, splines are getting shallower and more rounded. I do have a spare in very good condition and was wondering how big a job it is to remove and replace. Any suggestions would be welcome.

You have to remove the
- clutch cover
- clutch
- the metal plate in the left upper corner (don't know the English term)
You have to split the cases.
Make sure the gearbox etc. stays in place.
Replace the axle.
Refit everything and replace the gaskets.

You'll need a clutch nut tool (or a hammer ) and an impact driver.

Yep, Quite big'a job!
