160cc engine that didn't start
Hi all,

After getting my bike back on the road, and having a few problems, I thought i'd bite the bullit and get her Dyno-tested and set properly.
It was a pig to start from cold and was touch and go at anytime if it stalled

I took the bike to OOracing in Sandwich, Kent, where Adrian plugged her into the Dyno and carried out some wizardry. After all that, it was found to be leaking air at the carb manifold. A few bolt changes and a new gasket seemed to make all the differance :)

She now runs perfectly well, and starts as she should :D

Dyno readings were 87mph @ 10,000rpm (it still had 1000rpm in reserve) and 17.2 bhp

Not bad for chinkey lump! :D

I wouldn(t.
This one looks more racy, modern, stylish, which all suits the bike better.
+ you'll risk damaging the paint.

I agree with Waynus Simon, I think it actually looks better, I was considering changing mine a while back.

Well thats that then, thanks gents, I'll be keeping the badges just the way they are :D ..................Sorry about that blue :(

I had only stuck them on with strong double-sided tape for now, just in case I wanted to change them ;)

Blue, I actually got the badges from an auto jumble and cleaned them up. I think they might be from a Honda CB, what one I don't know :)

Just in case anybodys interested, its the annual "Ace cafe monkeybike run" on the 7th July. Would anybody be interested?

All the best Si
