Smoothrite for Wheels
Wondered if any of you guys had tried using Smoothrite when restoring your wheels? Its available in silver so was thinking of picking up a can and trying it out at the weekend.

Its good stuff, very tough and durable. Its a bitch to use however, it must go on in several light coats, if you get too much on it will still run ten mins later. Persevere though and take your time, its perfectly petrol resistant when its fully cured after a few weeks.
Its draw back is its a dull flat finish, fear not though a light rub all over with Tcut after a few weks and it then has a light shine which is very much like the low gloss finish that the manufactures produced.
