Float Chamber Overflowing.
Managed to get my little Monkey running yesterday, turned out to be a blocked main jet. Nearly poisoned myself with exhaust fumes in the garage though. The problem now is that the float chamber is overflowing out of its spill tube in the carb body. Is this due to the float needing adjustment or is something sticking or worn? cheers guys.

Remove the bowl.
Check and clean all small parts.
If needed, you'll need to bent the floater a little bit so it closes earlier.
(tip: test first if the floater is able to close perfectly: push the floater up, blow in the inlet and feel if the air can still pass the blocked point)

Thanks Waynus. Just been fiddling with it again and its not doing it now, strange. Fitted a tube to the outlet now to stop it dripping onto the block.

The throttle wasnt connected before but I got it connected maybe that has an effect on it not overflowing?

No, the throttle cable has nothing to do ith it.
Sometimes, the floater get stuck. If you encounter the issue again, knock on the bowl.
Often it gets free immediatly and will block off the fuel.

The shape of my float is different to all the pics I have seen so far. I think mine is an early K0 engine.

It's a round version?
They all work pretty much the same, unless you have an exotic aftermarket version.
