Model year help

Hello folks,

I have recently aquired a 70cc Dax, but dont know the year of manufacture as all the stickers/plates on the machine are obliterated!

the VIN # stamped on the stem of the frame says ST70-6402504.

Any ideas as to the year?

Cheers!

I'd say it's one of the latest 6v models, around 1980.
