Bikes dont have emotions!
Make sure its turning over ie your clutch is not slipping.
If engines turning over, check valves are closing fully and have correct clearances.
No joy - strip it down, - or take it to a professional, or at least someone who's competent on the engine

That's right. check your clutch first.
Also, see if your flywheel makes a turn.

And... pretty obvious, but did you correctly mount the spark plug? (and exhaust)

Hi
A really stupid question is yours a manual or semi automatic
If its a manual are you holding the clutch lever in as this will not allow the kick starter to work
p.s just a thought

Its very easy to do a compression test but of course you need a guage that screws in the spark plug hole.
I have one, as would all m/c workshops, perhaps doing a comp. test would be your best next step.
Did you check the valves seated and sealed correctly prior to assembly, are the clearances correct?

Recheck cam chain tension and timing.
Did you fit a new head (and bottom) gasket?
Correct tension on the head nuts?
All rubber o-rings in place?

And a silly question... sure you didn't do any major damage to the head?

Fir the new gaskets as soon as possible, there's the risk of damaging your valves etc.!!!
