loose wire

hi all, just taken the cover off the front sprocket and there is a loose wire, its green with a red stripe, is it to the neutral switch , if so how does it connect

Theres a small spring,compress it and you will see a hole,insert wire,job done!

Above the front sprocket, to the right.
