hi, ive brought a replacement ignition switch for my st70, but the wire colours are not the same as the original, the original colours are
RED-BLACK-GREEN/WHITE-RED/WHITE can anyone tell me what they go too ect, i presume the red/white is live in, and the red is live out

Re: ignition switch
red-white = 6v coming from the battery
black = feeds your ignition coil
green = earthing
white = front light
red = horn,...

This is the common way Honda used them, altough it tends to differ from model, year and country.

Re: ignition switch
Your ignition switch has 2 functions - Firstly to connect/disconnect the battery (red and red/white wires)R/W being Batt.
Secondly to short out(earth) the ignition (black and green/white)G/W being the earth,to kill the engine.
Battery circuit made in 'on' position
Ignition 'short' circuit made in 'off' position.

You'll need to employ a little detective work then to work it out for yourself...............
I posted all the info you need to identify what wire to connect to where........
You may need a simple circuit tester - be it battery and bulb or whatever.
