After trawling all known sources on the www I've been trying to find one of these part no; 17928 045 000. It seems they are no longer available from Honda or any other source so the only other option would be to make one from a piece of brass or aluminium.
Problem is although I know what it looks like I'd need some dimensions to work to so Id be grateful to hear if there is anyone out there who has one of these and could send me a drawing or close-up photos or better still let me come and have a close look at the one on their bike - preferably within biking distance of the M25 perimeter.
My ST70 restoration is progressing slowly in between hospital visits and pantomime rehearsals and have acquired a lot of new small parts from Lings Honda and David Silver who have both provided excellent service especially over the Xmas holiday period.
I can also recommend a local bike mechanic in SE London, Dave Wilkins who is not only a diehard bike enthusiast and a "real" mechanic, but also has an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of C70/C90 engines and of most other makes as well.
