Got carried away

Just popped into the garage yesterday to look for something (not Chaly related) & a hour later ended up with this :o

Idle hands & all that, anyway I discovered that the previous butcher, sorry careful owner had cut one side of the frame away, I assume to get the main stand off

So my question is, do I look for a scrap/bent frame, (anyone got such a thing cluttering up the corner of their garage ?)
or is it possible to fabricate a piece.
Trouble is I dont know what the piece looks like, can anyone help with pics of what it should look like please.
Cheers
Phil.
p.s. is the lower half of the frame the same on the ST/Dax as the Chaly ?

Haha great story!
Personally, I would get myself another / an extra frame to save myself the trouble.

Been having a think about the repair, can anyone tell me if the undamaged side is a mirror image of the damaged side ?
If so ill have a go at repairing it, time to get the grinder & welder out

It's not exactly the same.
There are some extra holes etc for the brake pedal,...

Cheers Waynus, can anyone take a piccy of the complete lower frame for me please ;) and I may be able to fathom it out from that.

Think I may be getting ahead of myself as I have not got the log book back from those very helpful chaps at the DVLA yet  . Didn't get one when I bought the bike so I applied and gave them all the info I had, which was everything apart from the reg no (as it never had one).
They recently sent the form back with a note saying "please supply the reg no", now i'm no Steven Hawking, but I know how to fill a frickin form in. I politely informed them that I did not have the reg no and "assumed" that they could retrive the reg no by the frame no & engine no that I supplied, as the Police do when they find a stolen vehicle with moody plate's on

Is it me or am I telling them how to do their job :? anyway I haven't heard owt for a couple of weeks
