Edge's New baby

Well the weather has changed and allowed me to get my new baby out of the garage, for a short ride up the road and photo call in the garden. This is the bike as I picked it up, not got round to cleaning it yet, not that it needs much of a clean as it has spent a lot of it's life in the living room of the previous owner. The last MOT in 1999 states 177 miles, so it ain't been far since then. It even has the original tool kit under the seat. I am getting a framed 16" X 12" print and delivering it to the son of the previous owner as a bit of a thank you. The only thing that bothers me is that the rear number plate has been changed and I think it should be a pressed steel yellow one. Please correct me if I am wrong people..... I intend to get the correct style of plate just to finish it off.
I hope you enjoy the photo's and I will post more when it is cleaned and the new plate fitted.
I will try to get it in a show or two next year so I may see some other owners at the events.

Hi Edge
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
My original Lady was an L Reg 1972 and this had the up style exhaust and a plastic rear number plate and it also had a pressed steel front number plate ??????
The frame on your one is much the same as the ST50 and it has the lug for the low exhaust system,
You are a very lucky guy to have such an immaculate machine but it should be ridden !
Which part of the country are you in please dont give an addressyou dont know who is looking

Tufty and Wanus

Thanks for the comments on the bike, I will tell you that it is going to be ridden and will be kept in the condition it is in now. I live in the sunny North east (well it was sunny today) but the bike will be travelling with me to JSRA british jetski championships, I will be building a new motorhome this winter with a parking bay in the rear made so the ST can travel with me when I go away.
