I've been threatening to post a pic or two but decided it might look a bit more interesting if it actually looked something like a complete bike rather than half-built or half-dismantled lash up.
The eagle eyed among you will probably spot loads of odd bolts and nuts etc., that I've used from my parts bin just to get the thing up and running just to get it MOT'd, then I can mess about making it look pretty with SS fixings etc.,
It's got a 00Racing Lifan125 motor,12v. electrics CDI ignition,4 speed electric start with manual clutch, hydraulic front forks and disc brake. The frame is a Honda original genuine ST70 but as it had no paperwork, reg no. etc., of any description when I bought it as a pile of miscellaneous bits in August 2012I thought I have a go at building a bit of a special. So here it is warts an' all
The pic of the rear o/side view is a but blurred as I must have been trembling with excitement when I hit the button.
Before anyone asks it finished in Honda Matador Red with a lacquered top coat.
I previously posted some details of the fender brackets I had to make to fit the original Honda front fender to the hydraulic forks but here's another pic anyway.
Planning to bring it to the Saffron Walden show 17th August so you can all have a butchers at it.
Cheers
Brian
