Hi
The Essex members of the very very very rare Lady Dax fraternity met today at an auto show in Safffron Walden all attending members turned up with their Ladies and a lively debate ensued as to which members bike was the correct colour this particular debate was won by Absolute due to the level of rust on his Lady which he claims gives it that shed find look. His son was also in attendance and was suprised by how many very very very rare Ladies there are.
Shorrocks also brought along his Lady and custom Dax which was later used on a short run out with myself and this was totally uneventful for a change "no breakdowns" this was also good news as Si had not brought his breakdown kit with him, his cute weekend/make up bag was empty
He also only overtook me once but I think he was just being polite as we were going uphill and he was bored. On the way back he commented that my purple one ran at a steady 50 MPH which is good news.
The weather was very hot with a short cloud burst and we all made new friends and some useful contacts and met the owner of 2 Daxi and numerous other bikes, people did come and chat about our bikes and commented about the condition and presentation and how they knew someone who had owned one.
Please keep the info about shows coming in.
PS I will post some pic's shortly
