Being from Essex aswell. I would be stupid not to turn up. Although my poor lady has a hole in exhaust (hurry up dad and fix it) and cam is in pieces, awaiting inlet valve (hurry up A J SUTTON and send it). My car is working, so hopefully see you there on Sunday.

For those of you that made it, did you take any pictures of your bikes together?

Dam! Got caught up in the moment and forget to take pics. Hope someone else remembered as I would love to see them. It was really great being able to put a face to some of the names on the forum. Hopefully I'll be able to bring my bike as well next time.

I can only repeat what was said earlier by the others who were at Battlesbridge, it was good to meet you all and see so many rare Lady Daxi together and of course the argument to renovate or not ? . I hope others will post about shows, meets and runs, as Shorrocks indicated it was a good show and the bikes drew a lot of positive comments and the fact that the majority of grown up bikers had ridden ST's in their youth and yes I did not take any photos but went out for a run mid afternoon and was rescued by a friendly BSA Bantem owner who had a fully carpeted garage and some nice Honda's who loaned me a couple of spanners so that I could get back.
I blame it on Shorrocks and trying to keep up with him on his mad m/c.

Just like to thank all those that turned up at Battlesbridge today The weather held out, just, and there were loads of bikes and lots of interest, especially with ours. Nice to see another "Rare Lady Dax" with the same old question, Restore or leave original Who cares as long as you ride the thing with a smile on your face

Thanks Tufty for your support, and it was good to see your new reincarnation, a few more tweeks and it will be as good as mine Hope you get that chain tensioner sorted out, if you need anything give me a bell.
