Re: Repro Seat Covers
I have been in contact with him and I am looking at bringing a couple of seats across, one for myself and one to sell on.

They look very good in the photos and although I may be incorrect in my assumption, I would swear that the photos of the underside of the pan show an identical seat to the ones sold by CMSNL at a far higher price. I know that they should all look alike but that is my point, if there is no difference why pay three time the amount as both neither are genuine and both are repro?

Anyone interested in buying one otherwise I shall just stick it on Ebay as a new non-genuine item (anyone see what a silly price that NOS one with a torn cover went for last week?).

Waynus on here bought it

Does anyone know of a seat cover which can literally be stretched over the existing seat (with some elastic on the bottom)?
Although I want to keep my flowered seat I fancy a black cover to go over it.

I purchased a seat from hondaclassics32last year. I felt the quality was excellent and it mounted right on to the seat hinge as it should.
I noticed on the website thay have a flower seat but I do not know if it is correct or not. I actually like the red tartan seat but want a matching set of red and blue.
I am not so crazy about makeing my bike 100% original but I wont make hack changes.

Say James, a lot of bike shops here in the states sell pull-over seat covers for summer use. Generally one size fits most sort of thing. Sheepskin is popular with the Goldwing guys but I have seen plain fabric. Hot seats in summer burn.

Does not exist... You've got to make that yourself.
I think the best thing is to look for a second hand black seat, so you can swap seats anytime you like.

You would risk damaging the flower seat otherwhise...

Re: Repro Seat Covers
I've just ordered a pair of black seats, one for me and another to sell on to anyone who might be interested.
I doubt they will arrive for a couple of weeks but if anyone is interested then let me know otherwise I will just stick it on Ebay.
I also ordered a seat-cover for Clive as it helped save on the P&P.

Regards
Alan
