📎 295560_10150255280706319_528741318_7961347_5725729_n.jpg Havent been on in months, my bad, dont know if i will be accepted or not but currently have a mint honda ape 100se and have bought a dax copy, yeah i know not a genuine dax but i paid 500 quid for a mint jincheng 125 and all i want is the frame really as its going to be fully tricked up and virtually 90% of the bike will be aftermarket parts so i didnt see the ppoint in buyin a honda frame plus its my first proper build so if i balls itup its a chinese frame thats gonna be damaged and not a honda, any hoo, heres my bikes and some pics of the bits i have bought so far for the dax, enjoy! So far i bought the wide glide forks, 3.5 litre tank from germany, okd billet shocks from thailand, billet brakes, swingarm and hubs etc from oo racing machined to fit the offset of my 12 inch falcon copy wheels, 3.5 inch on front, 4 inch rear with super low profile tyres (front one is from abroad as i cant get one here!£££££££) 60 profile on front 70 on back, next job is to send swingarm back to oo racing to have the hub machined etc or spacers made for rear wheel, so far its all in storage till i get a shed built in the garden so i can start building it through the winter after i strip the original bike to the frame and paint or powdercoat it!, then later on al get a big engine fitted, maybe a yx 140 or 150 electric start! i cant wait to get started!

Levers, was it these ones?
Item ID 321066854516 "takegawa chromed alloy lever set honda monkey bike z50j mini dax ape " SOLD for £18.51 ?
I had my eyes on those too!
If it is then they will be nice, I brought Daytona Grab bar from the same seller the other day which was mint

What make are those controls on the bars?
I need to get myself a clutch lever set and some controls for my Z50A, just dont know what to use.

Yup I got the levers, lost out on getting the takegawa hose clamps though, nevermind. The controls are the standard skyteam ones fitted to standard bike, just changed the grips to nicer ones and hopefully my new levers will spruce it up a bit more! The build end is in sight, well looks that way, need spacers made for wheels, front tyre on wrong way round and was a 2 man job to get it on, nightmare, no doubt al have more headaches on the way with chains n sprockets and alignment issues etc but its well ahead of schedule, technically its taken 5 days to strip down and get to this stage that's just a hour or so here n there, powdercoating was a week turnaround as he ballsed up the first time and this was 3rd time lucky with a colour change, but its really nice, have my seat at the trimmers, getting new black vinyl with quilted top and stitching and piping to match frame colour!

Small update, was going to get my seat retrimmed in black with piping and stitching to match frame colour, cant find a good match anywhere so decided on going wild and getting a full seat retrim in snakeskin vinys, waddya think?

Have you seen the snake skin they use with hydrographics???

Small update. been stewing over some bling dax stickers but I liked some parts and not others, seen some custom ones but not quite doing it for me, so decided to design my own, well sortof, using this dax style logo, decided I liked the chrome and holographic lettering and added my own stamp, did a very amateur sketch of what I wanted, sent to this guy in france who does bling stickers for monkeys n daxes, came up with 3 ideas, 99% there but I wanted a further tweek and came up with this, waddya think? I think its gonna make the bike stand out great with all the chrome n snakeskin seat etc!
