Would anyone be interested in some www.st70.net stickers or perhaps ones with the club logo on:

Please vote in the poll and if the response is good enough I will get some made up.

Cost will be minimal and they will be priced so that it covers the price of the sticker + p&p.

Thanks and comments are welcome :)

I'd love that...
A sticker on my helmet (fluorescent would be cool, for increased visibility at night)
and a badge to sew on my vest 8-)

Hi waynus
Hope you are well, I like the sound of a fluro sticker to put on your skid lid ( a 70's term for a crash helmet) James don't forget the adhesive could be a problem, also a sew on patch for my sweat shirt, but not fluro. Something more restrained would look good but could prove expensive in small quantity's. I used to drive a beach buggy van (yes van) many years ago and our club had a caricature of a buggy doing a wheely on a vinyl sticker. Which sad old g*t i am is still about somewhere alas not the buggy or the club. I will try to post a picture of the buggy soon as I am still an 18 year old child at heart, just ask my other half.

I spoke to a guy in my car club about the stickers (he produces loads for different clubs etc) but he is going to get back to me as I want such a small quantity. I think he is used to dealing with batches of 1000+

Going to look into the patch creation... I quite fancy one for my textile bike jacket.

Hi CLIVE

.................aren't we all.

I'm 47 going on 18. I'm still completely nuts. My basic opinion about life is.............. its a one way ticket, when I've gone I aint ever coming back so try and enjoy it while I'm here but, dont abuse it!! I find it strange looking at some people who are my age.......... they're so serious and boring, its beyond belief!!

NOT SURE ABOUT STICKERS BUT THE SEW ON PATCH LIKE THE LOGO AT THE TOP OF PAGE MIGHT BE SMART

Anyway, like Biker Mice From Mars used to say, "its time to rock n ride."

CHEERS

Hi
I am older than you at 53 nearly 54 I know a lot of people who are serious and might be even boring but equally I know a lot of 50 plus kids who over the years have been coralled into being old and boring but have dug under the barbed wire and dodged the search lights to find that like minded people of differing ages but with the same hobbies and interests never look at age just experience and as with all like minded people there is a huge amount of knowledge and advice in the mind pool as I find when asking questions, I would think that with the knowledge that Waynus has that he is at least 200 years old ( no offence intended ) and Litch can't be much younger. With my knowledge I should still be in primary school. My kids think I am having some sort of mid life crisis but my wife said I have been going through that since she met me some 35 years ago, but like you said we are all on a pathway but have different points to get off, the only thing that worries me is will my kids treasure my toys like I do.

"and Litch can't be much younger"

Cheeky git, i'm 43! :o

In addition, i'm not in my second childhood as I have owned & ridden bikes continuously since I was about 10. :D
I've only gone back to small bikes (i.e. the ST70) recently as my dad wanted another one and my first purchase on his behalf turned out to need more work than I originally thought so I kept that one and bought him an ST50 Dax instead.

I must admit it is fun tinkering about with one again and who knows, I might even use it for the run out next year (if I can resist the temptation to keep taking it apart again).

Hi again!!

............. I would think that with the knowledge that Waynus has that he is at least 200 years old ( no offence intended ).

THAT MADE ME LAUGH (I DONT KNOW YOU WAYNUS SORRY FOR LAUGHING AT THIS COMMENT) :D I like what you've written in your reply and the way you've put it across. The bit about ".... I know a lot of 50 plus kids," is quite amusing - I take it that for me to look at someone who's 50+ years and define them as a kid, I must must be at least 70ish   .

Only joking, I know what you mean!!! :D I totally agree with you about who will look after the toys when you aint there; I will give my bikes to my kids but if they didn't want them or if they dared to sell them, I'd be mortified and I'd dread the thought of my bikes going to someone else who wouldn't cherish it and keep it mint after I'd restored them and kept them the way I have

I have other things that I love and the same thing would apply to them - it can be a bit morbid thinkin' like this
Oh well, I'll make sure I tell the kids if they dont keep these lovely toys of mine I'll come back and haunt them!!

Regards

To be honest, I feel like I'm 201 years old every Monday morning.
Being interested and start working on all kinds of oldtimer cars and bikes starting from the age of 14 surely gets you started.
That being said, the most important thing I learned over time is how many things there are I have yet to learn.
