Hi folks, newbie here!
First of all hello and i am looking to build my first dax bike, I have been lusting after a dax for ages and until i can sell my current bike am sorta in limbo, i have a question on where i can find information on frame numbers regarding year and models as i may be getting an old frame to start my build and all i know is the first few digits as the current owner fears givin the full number out incase of cloning etc which is understandable, all i have been told is the numbers 702 which he says is the first 3 digits? I thought as an st they had st50 or st70 as the first digits unless i am being told the numbers after the st70 numbers etc? Anyone got a clue or point me in the right direction as am hoping its not a chinese copy as i can get one of those for 40 quid new with no number!

Any help would be appreciated, if its all above board al get it and get the ball rolling, dont wanna miss all the monkeybike runs this year! :D

Welcome to the club Dezzie! I unfortunately don't have the knowledge to answer your question I'm afraid but I'm sure someone will be along soon to help with your query. :)

The ST always has to be mentioned on the frame!
Does it still have the metal plate with the number on it?
Pictures might help as well...

90% sure it's an all original frame!
(not 100% because of the lack of pictures from the left side of the frame)
I'm afraid the price will go up quite a bid on such a rare NOS frame...
