Chroming guy - Only the best
I have just finished my White Dax resotration and can only recommend this guy for his chroming skills.
As you know you get what you pay for and he isn't the cheapest but I'll bet he's the best.
Based in Hinckley, Leics he will restore anything that needs chroming be it steel or ali.
Contact him at http://www.classicsandchrome.co.uk/1.html and ask for Dave, he's ya man.

That's handy to know.

When I was restoring one of my Laverda Jota's just a few years ago I had a lot of pieces chromed by a local place near Bedford that had been going for years and I thought had a good reputation.
I picked up the bits and although they appeared at first glance to be ok they were in actual fact quite poorly done and this detracted from the quality of the rebuild. Had I been keeping the bike I would have had them re-done but as it was I was completing the rebuild ASAP so I could sell the bike to take delivery of the new BMW (it IS possible to have too many bikes!). Certainly I won't be using them again so a recomendation is appeciated.

Thanks for the recommendation. I need to get my handlebars done, how much do you think it will cost?

In Belgium, the most famous facory (Mossu) should do it for around 60£.
Hope that helps a bit...
