Evening all, long time owner of 2, thought it was time to get motivated again to get 'em up and running

first one '72 K was owned from new by fathers friend to be used on a Canal Boat as transport to get about but then decided, well his wife, that it wasn't that great an idea...he was 18st, she 16st :o
Father had it then passed to me as a run around, looped it a few times, dropped it etc so got a bit battered then had a quick makeover to this stage around '96 'ish?

still in this sort of state at moment, does run but neeeds chain and sprockets, horn sorted and a couple of spacers for exhaust, originally had the Chaly low-slung when new and agood clean up, may never be pristine but i'd rather use as is than sit and look at it ever now and again.
original engine still in it and just over 4600m on clock

second one was my Brothers, again i somehow managed to acquire it and was in this state...

engine wasn't the best so after spending a small amount @ OO racing we had this.....120cc manual 4 speed with forks and front brake to suit and af ew other bits

seat strap is split, rest of cover seems OK so not too sure what to do, replace strap with a plain one maybe?

and i also have all of this lot i acquired somehow...

i'm assuming a lot of the Forums from a few years ago have gone along with the shops?

please excuse the long-wind intro, i'll try and make future posts a tad smaller!

Hi old'uns, interesting story about your two st70s, you have the best of both worlds , one with a standard engine and one with a larger engine and uprated suspension, I quite like the white st70s having one myself but mine has a black seat at the moment :)
