Hi
It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that our great friend Brian has passed away having fought the great "C" for longer than he was first told was possible, he proved his doctors wrong. My own personal memories are of a man who would travel to shows in support of his fellow ST'ers and I will always remember the stories of his time at the early drag racing meetings when he worked for STP oils and his connection with Adrian at OO Racing.
He will be greatly missed.

That's terrible new, Brian was one of the good guys.
I recall him coming out of his way to collect me a few years ago so I could get to the bike show in Saffron Walden if my memory serves me right.

RIP Brian you will be missed.

Brian will be sadly missed. He was one of the original "Old school" gents, that had a passion for all things mechanical. His stories were as good as his personality and he always had a smile, regardless of his treatments. I wish all his family many condolances, and the knowledge that if ST's went to heaven, he'd be there having a tinker ;) ;)

RIP Brian.

Very sad news about Brian.
Personally I never met or spoke to him, but he was very helpful to me via this website over various ST 70 problems I had.
A man like this cannot be replaced.
Cancer is a terrible scourge which will affect us in one way or another, either personally or through loss of friends or relatives.
Research is the only way things can move forward.
So next time you see someone collecting for Cancer Research please think of Brian and donate something no matter how little.
