Hi all
Newbie on here, looking for advice. I am currently visiting Thailand and my wife's 1976 Honda 70 is sat here at her family's house in a right state. She got it about 10 years ago and it was in pretty decent condition. Since though we moved to the UK in 2008 it hasn't been used much and when it stopped running a few years back has been left in a car port to gather dust. By the looks of things it will need an engine overhaul, respray, new brakes, tyres, electrics etc.
What would be the possibility of shipping it the UK so I can have a go at restoring over the summer. I have never played around with bikes before but am a experienced DIY mechanic with lots of tools and some space to store it. I have been told that the best way to ship would be in parts as it doesn't have any official paperwork in Thailand. How easy would it be to register and run in the UK? What's a good one also worth?
Many thanks
Will
