Hi
I have passed the info on your bike to several friends who were on the same run as you last weekend and they will be passing on details to others I have also beefed up my security including ordering an electric garage door and adding another security light and I think the days of working with the garage door open are now over, a pretty sad state of affairs also meaning engine testing is going to be more difficult and dangerous due to exhaust fumes.
There are a few bike collectors in the area where I live who are now very wary of showing their bike collections in case they are being cased for future thefts as there have been several thefts of super bikes over the last couple of months and people are now fitting ground bolts in their garages to secure their machines.
I think your bike is nearby and having visited you in the past somebody must have been watching you it may be worth going for a walk to see if any of your neighbours have CCTV.
Lets hope it is still in one piece because it is so unusual and the parts are not easily disposed of other than to other Dax /Monkey bike owners.
Fingers crossed Tufty

Oh my... Things like this shouldn't happen.
Especially not to the few good people on this planet...
May their nuts fall off, I hope you'll see her again very soon.

Slightly digressing from Simons theft I though this might be worth circulating
I received this from a biking mate Dave Dearle in Leigh in Sea, Essex

"With regard to the Honda stolen in Basildon, I sent the photo on to my motorcycle mates and the very easily recognised machine should be easy to find.

Yesterday our local paper reported that THREE motocross bikes had been stolen from a locked private workshop in Southend. Honda CRF 150, Yamaha YZ250 and Yamaha YZ 450 almost new - 2015 reg;.

The owner says ' They were all chained together in our workshop and the thieves even used one of our own hacksaws to get through one of the locks '. ' They smashed the gates into the workshop and the padlock as well. They seemed to know what they were doing '.

This all happened whilst the family were asleep close by and it seems incredible that thieves will take such risks to steal from locked premises. Let's face it, there are bikes parked in the street which must be easier to steal.

Anyway, this very unhappy biker is offering a £3000 reward for information leading to the return of his bikes - total value £20,000."

Brian,
It just makes me wonder, if they are that brazen to do something as distructive as that, it makes me think what would they do if you were to intervene in person :? :?

I really feel for the guy, it's the worst feeling in the world (your present circumstance not included) to lose somthing that you strive to make the best, and for some shit to come and take them..........................I hope he has better luck than me.

All the best Si

HI
This is getting scary what are we supposed to do about security, it would appear that the basXXXXs know exactly what they are after and how to get it, what makes me very angry is that people buy this stuff knowing it is probably stolen. Lets not become part of this and hope that they get caught and get a good kicking.
Stay positive and hopefully this will have a good outcome.
