Will an old dax seat fit a 87 dax??

I much prefer the old style seat and just wonder if an old one will fit a newer bike.

Unless you modify it no.

As far as I know the part that the seat latch catches on is in a different place.
It can be done, I've modified a 12v seat to fit a 6v bike.
So in theory it should work the other way around.
