Hi,
i have just recently joined and am in the process of my first ever restoration!!
All going well but I would love to know the year of manufacture of my bike. I saw that you had one registered in 1974 which was after the frame number posted in the thread.
My frame number is ST70-149019. I also have the switch for the headlights on the side of the headlamp, if this helps.
I would love you opinion or to know your frame number.
Many thanks

Just an update for all here. I have finished the restoration and All went well, but I still need to find the year of manufacture for DVLA as the original V5 did not have the frame or engine number on it, and they will not renew it!
My frame number is ST70-149019. I also have the switch for the headlights on the side of the headlamp, if this helps.
Apparently i need to get something from the "Owners Club" to validate the year as this may help. At the moment they are talking about registering it as a reconstructed classic. This is not a good outcome.
I am happy to send pics etc and would really appreciate any help to give DVLA confidence!!
Having broken the bike and engine down, i am pretty sure it is around 1975 but do need something concrete for them.

Many thanks for any help.

I though Honda UK provide a dating service (no, not that kind) for a price. I have a 1971 ST50 which has the frame number 118917 but this might not help for an ST70.
