Newbie,well almost

Hello to all from newbie . Had my little st70 nearly 30 years now, cost me £100 have owned quite a few bikes of different shapes and sizes but this is the only one I kept .Anyway about twenty years ago decided to strip down and try to return it to its former glory, had most of the chrome redone and variouse parts powder coated including frame swing arm etc, wanted it done pillar box red as this was the colour when I got it any way when it came back it was more like tangerine orange very unhappy and for twenty years has sat in a box until last week when it came of retirement all chrome still good sorry to drone on Happy Days coming round again,,, so my first ? Is how can I tell if red was the original colour as there were bits of white if I remember correctly when first striped down regards Lee
