He would like to thank you all for your kind thoughts and looks forward to getting his Dax repaired and meeting up with some of you at the various meets this year but he is going to keep the same colour scheme so when you see it you will have been TANGO'D

Hi all,

Now the weather's more favorable, its time to dust of those old boots and do some riding. I'm here to preach to the unconverted about those boots.
Having just been involved in a traffic accident with a van, my lower left leg took the full brunt of the impact, end result two broken bones

That morning was a bright and sunny morning and I was umming and arhring over suede desert boots, or motorbike boots. I choose well.

I had been informed by the motorcycle paramedic whom attended the scene that, "had it not been for the very good robustness of my boots, we would have been looking at a possible lower leg amputation" :? :?

For all of you out there umming and arhing, take it from me a good pair of boots are a must ;)

mmm... something is not looking quite right in that picture...
I feel the pain just by looking at it!

Are your boots the hard plastic motorcross type or the softer street version?

Hello Mate,

yes they are the Dainese soft type black leather, but unbeknownst to me, they also have Kevlar and steel plates at strategic places throughout the boot

No wonder they couldn't cut my boot off at the scene :? :? :? :?

Just goes to show :D
