Is any ST owner planning to attend this event on Sunday March 24th?
For those unfamiliar with this annual event it's organised by the Sunbeam MC club and starts from Tattenham Corner at Epsom Racecourse at 8am. Around 300 + veteran & vintage bikes of every description take part - some dating from 1899 and even come from Germany,Holland etc.,and many of them end up on display at Madeira Drive in Brighton.
The machines in the free public bike park at Epsom can be almost as interesting as those taking part in the run.
Weather permitting I usually head for Handcross about 10am - just off the A23/M23 and park in the playing fields car park. Many of the residents in the main street join in the 2 wheeled mayhem and open up their gardens and serve coffee, bacon rolls etc., - all good natured fun with the proceeds going to local charities.
Shame I won't be on an ST so will have to make do with a nice comfy Suzi Burgman.
It would be nice to see a squadron/flock or whatever you'd like to call it - of ST's there!
