Hi, I have a restored and modernised 1974 ST70 for sale.
This ST70 was aquired by my father who started restoring it about 10 years ago. Unfortunately he passed away before he was able to complete his work. There it was sitting on a bench/jig in his workshop, my mother asked me what should she do with it? I suggested that I have it and finish the project myself. Much of the restoration work was complete but I would have to assemble it and see how it went.
There was more work than I bargained on but eventually got it up and running. Once MOTed and on the road it was soon apparent that the motor and gearbox was a basket case. The best optioon I found was to replace the enging/box with a new 85cc version with a 4 speed manual gearbox. I had the wiring loom altered to suit the new 12V system, and changed the bars to suit a clutch lever.
Now I had a reliable easy to ride small bike that I could use to get to work and back on dry days. I've not used her for about 3 years and there is a SORN document. (should go through MOT with no work)
There are too many new parts to list!
Reluctantly I need to sell "Norah" (all my dads projects were named after Last of the Summer Wine characters) now as I have too many bikes and need to make space in my workshop.
I have spent around £1,500 on her to get to the standard she is in now. Norah is different from standard due to use of a modern motor and switches. The paint is a close match to orriginal and the handlebars are slightly different but a better position than the orriginal.
Included is a rare luggage rack that is shown in the pics but removed to save space.

Also I have load of parts left over from the project some very hard to get of also separatly listed as a job lot on Ebay 320705703181
Any questions email or call me Pete, on *****
