1971 genuine UK registered ST50 for sale. I bought this bike last year in four boxes, the previous owner had dismantled the bike and had the frame and mudguards powder coated. I rebuilt the bike with new tyres, brakes, wheel bearings, chain, sprockets, exhaust, carb, air filter, battery, rear shocks, coil and seat professionally recovered. I also fitted a new manual clutch conversion kit, although I still have all the original centrifugal clutch parts if you want to keep it original.
Cosmetically the wheels have a few rust spot otherwise it is like new.
It starts and runs but changing up to 2nd the engine bogs down and only pulls on part throttle, maybe a trying a few different carb jets may cure it.
V5 in my name, mileage of 4,700 can't be verified, although before I put the bike back on the road this year it was lat taxed in 1979.
MOT and tax exempt under the new changes, bike is in Aberdeen.
