St70 or 50 removable fork kit

I have got together a kit of all the parts required to make the removable forks fitted to early ST s really work. If like me you bought one of Motorkits removable front forks fitted it then realised it was pointless unless you could really use it. I soon realised to make the bike authentic i would require all the other bits like the bracket to hold the throttle cable,the bracket for the carburetor and many other parts no longer available from Honda.
I have spent months searching the web purchasing and having fabricated different parts to get as close as possible a replica of all the parts used back in the 70s, also a step by step instruction manual how to make your original throttle cable into the ones that used to be fitted using the parts kit and simple tools.Message me for any information or details.Check out my Honda ST 70.

Hi wozer, very interesting and very worthwhile

I thinks so it has taken ages to source all the correct parts. I needed to do it. Who has a removable front end you cant remove because of the throttle cable and wiring harness? Lol. I did not any more. I will be putting my kit on my other ST70 when i get round to restoring her and i have already bought the removable forks for my z50A. These bikes are now practical to fit in the car and take anywhere.

Yes I agree it does make them even more practical to transport them in a car boot, I shall be using my white Dax a fair bit this summer but I much prefer taking it to a nice location as opposed to riding for a long journey
