HONDA CHALY FOR SALE. Here is my 72cc Honda Chaly from 1974 with just 124 miles on the clock. From its general condition this may well be a true mileage. The only old MOT is from 1978 when it had done 85 miles. I expect that it must have been off the road and tucked away for many of its years. All the items that tend to indicate mileage look brand new like handlebar grips, footrests etc. The engine ticks over like a sewing machine and the whole bike is completely original.
However it is 40 years old and there are some rust bubbles on the frame but not much and the whole machine is a time warp. There is some pitting under the chrome on the exhaust but it’s all solid.
It is MOT’d until 18/2/15 and taxed 31/3/15 by when it will qualify for free historic vehicle road tax. So, it’s ready to go. The mileage may go up a little in the meantime as I am pottering about on it locally from time to time but not much. New battery just fitted
