My 1974 Honda ST70 - Monkey Bike for sale, 2889 miles only - MOT certificates included
Starts and runs, everything works. All original, even has the lower heat shield and grab rail. I replaced the battery with a gel one – they last longer when you only run the bike once a year!, there is a tool kit in wallet under seat.
Currently on SORN, I have owned this bike for 9 Years, it was taxed and MOT’d last in 2005, 2 former owners. It has been kept garaged all this time liberally sprayed with wd40. I have not ‘buffed’ the bike up for the photo’s, it will need a clean to remove the preservative oil.
The only small problem is that the kickstart sometimes slips the clutch, I have just changed the oil for 10/40 motorcycle – the garage told me this should cure the slipping after use, the gears select ok on the automatic clutch, an adjustment may be needed along with a service.
Lovely little bike, sad to see it go but seems wasted just sitting in the garage. You can view the bike in Yeovil, Somerset
