Yellow ST70

Hello all I have just bought my second st70 - previous is a "rare" lady dax, this one is a real basket case and according to the DVLA records it was yellow back in the day before it was badly hand painted.

However I haven't seen another yellow dax in the uk and as I'm led to believe from the paint codes it should be a candy yellow special, I would like to get it powder coated instead of paint but have no idea how to work out the equivalent RAL colour?

Any help on the colour situation or anymore info on a yellow dax would be greatly appreciated

For reference it is a '74

Many thanks

Probably it's this colour:
candy yellow special - Y1CS

You can't find the exact RAL colour code, you'll have to order Honda paint.
Of course, you can have the original colour read out to find the matching colour composition.

Thanks for the reply, yes it seems to be the candy special yellow, apologies for my low post count I was a member on here before but forgot my username and password doh!

If anyone else has anymore info on a yellow dax or if they were even produced/released in the UK that would be much appreciated

Many thanks

Any docs or paperwork with it? Reg No? Old MOTS or tax discs?
