Re: ct70 on ebay..............
Nice bike indeed, but there are some issues though...
Not the original paint (but it looks nice!) There seems to be some paint chipped off on the rear left schock.
Cheap Chinese reproduction seat
Wrong handlebars (probably z50) or clutch type
Wrong rear brake system (probably z50)
Extra hole (at least 1) in the frame, right front side
...

So a good runner, but nowhere near an historic bike I'm afraid.
If.... it even has CT frame / engine numbers. Maybe he just switched the decals.

Waynus, you have a very keen eye, I never would have spotted that rear brake system. Rear shocks don't look like the originals either. Wonder how that extra hole appeared in the frame - still looks lovely though.

Arny just to correct you, the two levers on the handle bars are both for the brakes. It was thought too difficult to brake whilst in the standing position driving on the "Trail" so they linked the cable from the right hand side lever to the rear brake pedal, this ment that you had greater control whilst driving, Apart fom that the engine is basically a semi auto 70cc unit :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

Main differences are the front forks (except '69 model), engine guard, exhaust shield, indicators, speedo...
Only the CT70H has a manual clutch. (4 gears)

Didn't know they used this type of braking for CT70 K0, thanks for the info!

It's more important to know your knowledge is very limited
as it is to have a lot of it.

Honda sure did some strange things back in the days.
