Well spoted Waynus,

Z50A K2, crying out for an engine, anyone got a spare?
My 1976 Lady with hydrolic forks and a C90 cub engine in, it has the rusty rat look.
You missed the 1972 Blue ST70 in the back right corner, still waiting for paint.

Hey Blue, your shed looks like a F1 garage compared to my garage

Must stop buying bikes & bits, try to concentrate on building something roadworthy

Phil, if you'd have seen what I chucked out the door to get in there to take the pic then it would have looked much the same.
I had a shed workshop once, then i had kids!

I can see a blue Chaley in there though?

:D yeh know what you mean mate, yep the blue one is one I bought last year with good intentions of getting it on the road for this (just gone  ) good friday ride out, its a bit of a tradition with the boys, go's way back to the 70s when we all had AP50s, Fizzies, SS50s, Garelli's et al. We all took off up to a place called Rivington Pike, the locals on here will know it, but alas there is always something else to do in the house/garden/kids
If you look to the rear of the "pile" you will see my new project, a rather sad looking Magnolia painted Chaly frame, won this on wevelbay a couple of weeks ago then bought a pile of bits so should have enough to finish both. That said I have been buying mostly NOS parts for the blue one as I want to make that one decent/mint.
Cheers
Phil.

First bike I rode was my uncles girlfriends ST70, never forget that, hence buying one, actually two :)

Just spotted the white chaly tucked away at the back, sounds familiar what your saying here, I brought my Blue ST70 to do up last year, got distracted and ended up buying the white one for spares then decided to get them both going.
To top it of i saw the Z50A and could not resist it, got my eyes on a Z50R too!
I will get one of them on the road this year, which one is another story.

Fizzies, I remmeber them well, My mate used to lend me his souped up Fizze back in the day, (Well he took the baffles out)
It was a great little bike, strangly he stopped lending it to me after I crashed it in Hasting, theres a big hill called Old London Road that leads into the old town, problem is theres a corner at the bottom and a Police box.
I came down that hill so fast! (55mph!) which was fast for me at 16, could not make the corner and ended up going straight into the police box.
Luckly there was no one in there so I managed to pick myself up and push the bike back to my mate who was waiting in the amusments for me to get back.
As you can guess he was not impressed, never let me on it again, even though I paid to get it fixed.

Bumped into him recently after 20 odd years, we had a good laugh about his Fizzie, when I asked to have a go on his bike he has these days you can guess the answer :)

Good luck with the two bikes, let us know how you get on.

Cheers,

Blue
