A lot of aftermarket / wrong version parts in this bike.
Seat, Fenders, Ignition cover (note the sprocket is uncovered), handle bars and switches, exhaust, and so on and so on...
Wrong painted wheel hubs, fork rubbers, holes in the frame (probably for the S800 emblems)
Not really a bike for the collector.

Mmmm why would you ask £1295 for a bike with NO MOT ? for the sake of £27, I personally would not even contemplate selling without one, still, on first impressions it looks nice & im betting he gets a tidy sum for it

Hi
Does it really matter, the header is correct and it does say Jap tuning parts, I payed for a bike with no MOT in fact 2 ST70's and a ST50 and I negotiated the cost of the test into the price so that I could get them tested and checked at a local station.
The most important thing is that the bike should be used and not just a show pony and that the new owner should be encouraged to join this forum ???????????????????????????????????

For what it's worth. I say ride it and make it look as good as you want to (or not) and have fun. Collectors have their place too. I don't think everybody has to be a collector just as I think not everybody has to be a certain this or that. First off they were invented to ride. Restoring is fun and is a great way to bring the past back to life, on the other hand I have neither the skills nor patience to restore to 100 point (or the duckets).
