As some of you know my bike has been in the family since my uncle bought it new in 1975. Well, I spoke to my Dad today at lunchtime and he said that last night he spoke to the guy who worked for Honda and sold the bike to my uncle 34 years ago!
My Dad told him that I was in the process of restoring it and he was pleased to hear about it.
Apparently the Honda dealership where the bike was bought only sold 2 ST70's in white, the other one was used in Reading, Berkshire and I have a feeling the salesman actually bought it for himself. I wonder what happened to the other bike!
Turns out my Dad sees the guy on a regular basis! It's a small world!
