Hi Guys
I have just got a new project it is a ST70 but has not only a stamped number by the engine mounting point but an aluminium plate on the headstock with a serial number the same as the other one but without the ST70E at the beginning.
The question is what have I got
It has never been registered so any help would be gratefully received

It is normal that you have a number stamped in the frame +an indification plate.
But I've noticed not all U.K. (if any) bikes have the ID plate.
Normally, the ST70 is printed on the plate, followed by stamped numbers.
Maybe it's a fake (replica) ID plate that has been ad on the frame afterwards. (these do not always have the right type number written on them)
Anyway, no problem for registration, carry on! :D

Is it bolted or glued to the frame?
Plastic or metal?
