Hi Lee
Waynus brought one off of ebay last year and I think it was about £150.00 inc postage to europe but I am sure he will let you know.
I suppose the real answer is whatever you can get for it ?
There is a guy who puts them on Ebay and I have seen them and they are exactly the same as the originals for a start of £50.00 and they are new vinyl.

Do you have one for sale? I'm still in the market for one...

Price depends on condition of cover, strap, foam and plate.
And... the style (Japanese / UK)

Bad condition: 100€
Good condition: 300€
NOS seat: 450€
Perfect Japanese (chrome bar): 600€
(rough estimations)

The cover I bought off Ebay was without the seat base nor foam nor strap.
Cover itself was in correct condition, but had some light silver paint marks on the black sides.
I think I paid 125€, shipped.

The reproduction covers appear the right pattern on picture, but they actually differ quite a lot.
More plastic shiny, not so stretchable, not so nice at all...
I had one, but didn't quite like it.
As long as your not going for the complete original look, and you don't compare OEM with replica in real life, they are good usable covers.

Lee,
some of the models indeed came without a strap. So no worry, it might not be a missing part.
Japanese, some early UK's...
I think it would suit your bike perfectly!

Some of the copies are very good but others bare no relation to the original when you look at the underside.
I brought a few in from Veitnam in two batches and sold them all, the new owners seemed very happy. I then got CMSNL to send me photos of the underside of one of their brand-new genuine seats and I was very surprised to see that it was identical to my second batch of copies. Now this could just be down to the fact that the copies are very good (the later ones were REALLY good) or that even the genuine ones are now made in the same place (quite likely as many of the older parts are now sourced from across the Far East).
I will probably be buying another one from Veitnam sometime for my own bike (when I eventually get around to rebuilding it!).
