Daxes on EBay

Currently there are 6 Daxes on EBay. One is a re-list with a lower reserve, perhaps people think they are more desirable to the general punter than they really are. One is a bike I really want, but will probably go to a price in excess of that which I consider to be affordable. The same has happened to C90s, even a basket case seems to sell to someone with more ambition than sense :) .
Will prices keep on rising or have they peaked? VMax

Over the last 6-7 year, the prices have dropped big time.
This, because of the upcome of cheap Chinese clones on the market.

They are at least steady now, prices tend to go up sligthly.
An original Dax , chaly, monkey,... will only increase in value in the future.
Especially frames with original paint, seats and engines with low mileage (or NOS) will hit sky rocket.
Parts are always a lot more expensive as a complete bike is.

At least, that's my prediction ;) .

I think prices have peaked and might go down, this is for a few reasons:

- People have less money
- Sites like eBay tend to set the average price for all kinds of bikes
- Motorcycling has got a lot more expensive: insurance, fuel and general maintenance items have all gone up in price

I would love it if my ST70 went up in value but I really don't think it will in the next few years.
