Not me unfortunately
Due to a change in circumstances I won't be fixing my bike and getting it on the road this year as I had previously planned. I'm a bit gutted really as I would love to have used it this summer (especially with the great weather we've been having lately). My ST70 still has a few major (and minor) problems that need to be fixed, the main one being the engine! It starts but something is broken internally I think and sounds terrible when some throttle is applied. I really don't have the knowledge or expertise to get it fixed meaning it's going to sit in the shed all summer
I could pay someone to fix it or try fixing it myself but I simply don't have the time or bottomless pockets anymore that these bikes require. Due to circumstances beyond my control I left my job in December 2009 and since then have spent half the time living abroad. I'm currently self employed (web design & Internet marketing) which means I can work from anywhere so have been living in a country where it's cheap but I still have a good quality of life - Lithuania.
I've returned home for the summer and have been trying to get full time work but there is literally nothing available, I've even been looking for work in London but to no avail! If things carry on the way they are then I'm leaving the UK again in September to live in Lithuania again. Sorry for rambling on but it might explain my absence from the forum in the last few months.
So what has everyone else been up to? Who will be using their bike this summer? We did discuss a possible meet up this year, I would definitely be up for attending if we found a venue (although I would be in my car)!
