Location identification plate?
Hi, I was wondering where the ID plate is located, for U.K. ST70's from the early '70s.
The frame number is located above the front sprocket, but I don't have the ID plate.
I might put one on the frame someday, but I'd like to know where...?
I suppose it should be on the front fork?

Re: Location identification plate?
HI
The only id plate on my lady dax is located 10mm above and centrally to the 2 screws which hold the chain guard in place, the rest of the stickers refer to warnings etc. This one appears to be metal foil rather than vinyl,
Hope this helps

Thanks for the info!
The other models (Geman for example) have the ID plate below the head ball bearing.
