Ihave recently purchased a ST 70. Although it has been registered in the past the log book has been lost. I have been told the bike is most likely 1973/1974. The Frame number is ST70 6109822. The colour is orange. The key mechanism is faulty (not switch on/off), a bye pass on/off switch has been fitted as a temporary measure. The bike runs and drives well and at the moment I am unsure how far to restore it. I would appreciate advice on the following:
1. From the frame number can some one tell me the year.
2. Shade of orange and paint code.
3. Ref the key problem, anyone experienced similar problem.
4. Any thought on restoration, or is it very much a personal thing.
