Hi Everyone. I will start restoring a 1973 ST90 shortly. Bike is mechanically sound fully serviced and running but in average condition cosmetically. I intend to keep the original paint but would like to restore the chromework some of which is pitted and some of which is rusted. Can anyone please recommend the best way to do this? Can any of you please also recommend the best please to buy parts. I am particularly interested in front and rear mudguards. Thank you in anticipation for any help.

To start with ....... Shire Bikes and Dave Silver. Honda still supply some parts and obviously Ebay. Good luck.

Hi VirgilG, Autosol is brilliant stuff, they say it removes corrosion, tarnish and discoloration from chrome, aluminium, stainless steel, brass and copper, reduces blueing on exhausts and protects against corrosion and tarnishing
