Hello ST experts. Please can you tell me if ALL ST engine numbers should start with ST. If a bike has an engine with a number that start with a “C” does that mean definitely mean it is a replacement or non original engine from a C70? The number on the bike starts with a “C” and this is correctly listed on the V5. Many thanks in anticipation. Richard

IMG_20180712_093340_717.JPG Hi RC-ST70, if you have a engine number and a frame number staring in C then it very much sounds to me that you've probably got a ct70 because the engine number and frame number on a ST70 start with ST, hope this has been of some help :|

Hi Richard, one of my dax's is a lady Dax but has a black seat on at the moment but I'm just about o fit a flower seat which is what they had when new, it's sounds like yours is a ST lady Dax then (have you any pictures) :| IMG_20180609_134817_419.JPG I have a owners workshop manual for the Honda c70 with a picture of the engine number and that number is starting in C70-E156792 so you may have a replacement engine if your engine number is in the same format as that oneIMG_20180713_092215_794.JPG
